Men's Interest
GODWARD: Our men meet every 2nd and 4th Sunday night at the church from 6:00 to 7:30 to encourage one another through accountability in personal spiritual growth and family worship. Additionally, we have several activities on our church calendar which are designed to build God centered friendships.
Women's Interest
At Lakewood we encourage the women to support,encourage, and hold accountable their husbands in family worship. We also encourage the women to establish meaningful, Christ-centered relationships within their T.O.U.C.H. groups. There are several activities planned on our church calendar for both in-reach and out-reach for the women.
Children's Ministry
Currently, we are equipped to provide childcare during our Sunday Morning Worship Service for children ages 3 and under. Our T.O.U.C.H. Group meetings include Kid's Slot, a time for all children to learn in a fun, casual environment. These meetings include practical, hands-on-learning activities. Summer activites are also planned involving trips to the Memphis Zoo, the Collierville, TN Sprinkler/Water Park, the Pink Palace Museum and to the Memphis Botanical Gardens!
T.O.U.C.H. Groups
T.O.U.C.H. stands for "touching others using caring hands". These are small groups of 15 people or less that meet in homes weekly. The goal of these groups is to provide encouragement, friendship, outreach, and life application of the Bible. These groups meet in addition to the Sunday morning Worship Service and not in place of it. Children have their own learning activity during the meeting.
- We encourage our young people to build an accountability partnership with other young people through T.O.U.C.H. group and/or church.
- We have activities planned on our church calendar to provide both in-reach and out-reach for our young people.
